Jag skriver guiden på engelska. Den är väldigt lätt att förstå.
Obs! Detta är inget för nybörjare. Vill du ha din Xbox 360 "chippad" lämna in den till oss.
You need:

• 1 x SST39SF020A (link)
• 2 x 10k ohm resistors
• 1 x Switch (double sided if you also want to solder on/off leds)
• 2 x 3mm leds Green and Red or any color you want, and 2 x resistors.
  Either 2 x 100ohm if you are using 3v leds on 5v input.
  Or 2 x 470ohm if you are using 3v leds on 12v input.
  You can do as you want. I just gave you some options.

Lets get started.

Open your Xbox 360 and the dvd-rom. There are plenty of guides for this.

When you have the DVD-rom motherboard cut this track:

Do not use the leg numbers cause they do not match. Instead use the names.
Example. Leg no.1 on the TSOP chip is called A11.
That leg on the PLCC chip is no. 25

It's very easy, you solder all the legs counter-clockwise.
DO NOT SOLDER VDD, NC & CE# on any of the chips

Solder a cable from all the legs except for no. 8, 9 and 30 to the corresponding leg on your SST39SF020A chip.

Here is the hard part. Take your time. Do not heat to long. And if you do anything wrong. Take a brake and let the TSOP chip cool down before you solder on it again. Else you will have a dead chip.


The other side of the TSOP chip is easier since there are pads instead of legs that you can solder on.

Here is how mine looked. But do not place the chip where i did. There is some space to right. Look at your dvd lid if you want to know why


You should have something that looks like this:
(Dont mind the resistors, and the diffrent colored cables)

Now you have soldred all the cables except Legs no. 8, 9 and 30 on the TSOP chip
and legs no. 1, 32 and 22 on the PLCC chip. (leg 22 is leg 15 on the tightmod diagrams if that clears up something for you)

Now follow this schematic for the Switch and the Leds.
Once again so its clear. You dont have to use both th 5 and 12v points. I have just marked them out and you choose the voltage you preferr.


Before you connect your Xbox 360 to the computer. Make sure that everything is working. Hook up your xbox 360 togheter and start with original firmware and see if an orignal xbox 360 game works.
If it dosnt look over your soldring.
You can also switch to your new chip, the xbox 360 should get stuck on the intro. If you havnt pre-flashed your chip.

If everything works smoothly, its time to flash

I used Slax linux cd for setting the drive to modeB and it worked great.

Du måste ha en externprogramerare för att kunna använda dom sst chip vi säljer på hitachi vill jag bara poängtera.

Tur man inte hunnit börja då... har inte sett något om extern programerare... har du något förslag på nån ... eller kan jag på någe vis modifiera min Matrix programerare så att jag kan använda den?

sjävla switchen kan du borra lite fint på lämplig plats.
ingen aning om matrix programerare fungerar, klarar den av sst020 ?

Matrix har ett SST 49LF020

Annars kanske det funkar att sätta chippet i ett Akira2 och flasha i en XBOX?
Akira2 har ju ett SST 39VF040 !

hur gör ni? eller ni har speciell programerare?

jag har själv testat den i akira programerare utan att lyckats. ju jag la till rom adressen i evox ini ifall du undrar.

matrix vet jag inte. aldrig testat.

Vi löder inte in dualboot i hitchi alls eftersom det är så pass mycket jobb. endast i samsung.

kanske det är enklare om man hittar TSOP kapslade SST39SF020A

funderar på om det går att flasha via DVD spelaren när det redan finns en Firmware på det nya chippet.. annars är det väl en ganska kass modd på hitachin.. om man inte kan uppdatera på annat sätt än via extern brännare

Ju det är ett kasst och slitsamt jobb och det är därför vi inte erbjuder detta bland våra "chippnings" alternativ.
som dualboot är det rätt meningslöst.

Men troligen iom med Hitachi 0078 kommer vi att blitvingade om inte någon annan lösning finns.

Hej om man köpper ett Xbox 360 Core XTREME med Dualboot placerar ni knappen som på denna bilden?

Nej. Vi placerar på baksidan av maskinen. inte direkt finaste, men då har du en strömbytare som är enkel att använda.

vi har plaserat switchar som du visar på din bild och det är inte den bästa placering om man vill ha en strömbrytare. rätt trångt.
och tänk på också att det ska sitta en front på framsidan.

Jag håller med om att det är snyggt, men inte praktiskt. och dom har den limmad på insidan med lim som kan lossna. jobbigt om det släpper och du inte kommer kunna använda switchen alls utan att behöva öppna den.

Men jag vill poängtera att vi kan placera switchen precis vart du vill. skriv det i meddelande fältet när du beställer.

Nej det är rätt bild, jag ville bara visa att där dom andra har placerat strömbrytaren finns det en lucka, så det är lite opraktiskt att switcha fram och tillbaka. Jag har ingen bild på hur vi placerar swithcen för tillfället.
